Sienna is a 12-month old female German Shepherd that was rescued by Mary Luton, a former OWDA club member. She is trying to find a good home for Sienna.
Information on Sienna from Mary:
"Sienna has been rescued from a less than suitable home and has been given a second chance at life. She is current on all shots and worming. She tested positive for heartworms and has received treatment and is now healthy and heartworm free and on preventative.
She does well inside or outside. A home with a big yard would be more suitable for her. She is potty trained. She hasn't torn up anything. Wonderful personality.
I've taken food away from her and bones, she is not aggressive at all. She will walk on a leash, come, sit and down and is doing well at heeling.
She does well with other dogs, big or small. She does not like cats. So she cannot go to a cat home. That wouldn't be fair to her or the cat. She is fostered with 3 other big dogs and they play very well with one another.
She has had a rough start in life, so she needs someone that is patient and kind to help her to continue to develop into the wonderful dog that she is now. She is very intelligent ,friendly and protective at times. At her previous home, she was the victim of neglect and abuse. She is learning to go for car rides, visit Pets' mart. She will play with a ball and cong, chew bones and treats. She also is a "talker" like a lot of Shepherds are. She likes to wrestle with me now too and is quite a character.
Her adoption fee will be $200 to help me recover some of the nearly $700 that I have spent saving her life. This is a bargain price for a pure bred dog with shots and spayed. I do not have her papers and I don't know anything about her hips. Since she was a rescue, I only know what I have typed in this letter. Serious inquiries only.
